PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

Composite insulated shielded busbar uses a hollow tubular conductor as the current-carrying medium. Adopting a three-layer co-extrusion technology similar to cable manufacturing, three layers of polymer materials—inner shielding layer, insulation layer, and outer shielding layer—are extruded onto the tubular conductor to achieve full insulation of the tubular conductor against ground and between phases.

Insulated Copper Tube Busbar is suitable for generators, transformers and other large electrical equipment to connect with various electrical devices, for the collection, distribution and transmission of electric energy.

IV.Usage Characteristics

  1. Large current-carrying capacity, high mechanical strength, and high allowable stress;



 2. Low skin effect coefficient, Kf≤1, small AC resistance, and power loss is 1/4 of that of rectangular busbar with the same cross-section;



 3. Good heat dissipation, low temperature rise, and long service life;



 4. The main insulation material is ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber, which exhibits excellent aging resistance and weather resistance. Its stable electrical and mechanical properties ensure a service life of over 30 years;



 5. Due to its fully insulated performance, small phase spacing and ground clearance, it saves land resources and can prevent short circuits caused by people, livestock, and falling objects from high altitudes, greatly improving safety performance;



 6. Its structure is simple, installation is convenient, infrastructure cost is low, and there is basically no need for maintenance in the later stage.
