This product is suitable for power transmission and distribution lines with rated voltages from 1 kV to 35 kV. It is primarily used for transmitting and distributing electrical energy.

I.Product Applications

Aluminum alloy cable is a new generation of power cable manufactured using advanced technologies, including special roller-formed profiled wire stranding and annealing processes.This alloy power cable effectively overcomes the limitations of traditional pure aluminum cables. Although its electrical conductivity is not higher than that of pure aluminum, its bending performance, creep resistance, and corrosion resistance are significantly improved. These enhancements ensure stable and continuous performance even under prolonged overload and overheating conditions.


By utilizing aluminum alloy conductors, the cable achieves greatly enhanced high-temperature resistance while effectively resolving issues such as creep associated with pure aluminum conductors.


II.Operational Features

The conductivity of aluminum alloy reaches 61.8% of the International Annealed Copper Standard (IACS), and its current-carrying capacity is 79% that of copper. However, at the same volume, the actual weight of aluminum alloy is approximately one-third that of copper.


Therefore, when carrying the same current load, aluminum alloy cables weigh only about half as much as copper cables. Replacing copper cables with aluminum alloy cables can significantly reduce overall cable weight, lower installation costs, minimize wear on equipment and cables, and make the installation process much easier.
